Jacques Lacan: Tuesdays at the Vinatier

This text circulates with the following introduction : "In 1967, Jacques Lacan held, in the context of "Tuesdays of the Vinatier" a conference where he developed, for the benefit of a provincial audience, the main directions of his teaching. It seemed interesting, in the introduction to a debate about his thinkings, publish here a text reconstructed from the recording of this conference and discussion with H. Maldiney having followed. Reproduction, with some blanks inaudible today, of what was heard that night or what the auditors believed they grabbed from a spontaneous and associative speech, this text does not represent an unpublished Lacanian writing and therefore neither undertakes Lacan nor Maldiney ".
