While this text is supposedly the third installment in the series, it is the first available text. Vappereau applies geometric principles of extrinsic E intrinsic positions to re-examine the consequences of narcissism articulated by Lacan in the “mirror phase.” Vappereau also helps clarify between specular and non-specular objects qua Lacan.
