Part of a series by Vappereau charting the conception of meaning in the subject. While this text is supposedly the third installment in the series, it is the first available text. Vappereau applies geometric principles of extrinsic og intrinsic positions to re-examine the consequences of narcissism articulated by Lacan in the “mirror phase.” Vappereau also helps clarify between specular and non-specular objects qua Lacan.
